Purpose:
To ensure all the equipment and food required for the function(s) is available to the waiters at the appropriate time.
Essential Functions:
  • Prepare for functions on shift.

  • Set up Breakdown Stations.

  • Assist with Plate up.

  • After function breakdown.

  • Drive box truck to scheduled locations

  • Load and Unload box truck

  • Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in all areas of the back-of-the-house in accordance with the Department of Health.

Qualifications:
• Valid Virginia driver's license.
• Excellent driving record.
• Ability to drive vehicles with automatic and with manual transmissions.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to understand and speak basic English in order to communicate with guests and co-workers.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours, walk and run in a fast pace.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in inclement weather including rain, snow, wind, and extreme heat.
• Ability and willingness to work a varied schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must reside within 50 miles of the hotel.
• Must be willing to subject to a drug screen and MVR background check.
• Must be able to work weekends

  • Coffee maker/urn, beverage machines, bus trays, dishware, silverware, glassware, queen-mary cart, broom, mop, bucket, cart,

Working Environment:
  • Interior of hotel, in all Food and Beverage areas, with exposure to humidity and extreme temperatures.

  • Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals.

  • Exposure to food items and beverages.
