Job description

Overview

Bowhead is seeking a Program Manager for the upcoming Technical Project Support Services (TPSS) contract in Patuxent, MD. TPSS supports the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) in delivering mission-critical systems and services. The effort provides a wide range of technical, project management, engineering, logistics, training, and administrative support for air, ship, shore, expeditionary, and surveillance systems that directly support warfighter operations.

The Program Manager will serve as the overall lead, manager, and administrator for the contracted effort, overseeing all aspects of program execution.

Responsibilities
  • As the primary Point of Contact (POC) for the IDS Division Government leadership, manages and addresses technical, program, and project-related issues, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for directing, coordinating, and supervising the work of contractor personnel, ensuring efficient program and project operations.
  • Organizes, plans, and oversees the production of all contract and subcontract support activities, ensuring that all deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and budgetary requirements.
  • Maintains and updates the personnel charging Staffing Plan, which includes detailed breakdowns of TDL and project funding per Contract Line Item Number (CLIN)/SubLine Item Number (SLIN)/Accounting Classification Reference Number (ACRN).
  • Provides strategic guidance and mentorship to the team, fostering a collaborative environment that drives success across all areas of the TO.

Qualifications
  • At least ten (10) years of experience and a master's degree or bachelor's degree plus four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted for a Master's.
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to maintain a clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for a Secret clearance at this location.
