Why Choose Bottomline?
Are you ready to transform the way businesses pay and get paid? Bottomline is a global leader in business payments and cash management, with over 35 years of experience and moving more than $16 trillion in payments annually. We're looking for passionate individuals to join our team and help drive impactful results for our customers. If you're dedicated to delighting customers and promoting growth and innovation - we want you on our team!
The Role
The Head of Solution Consulting - Banks leads Bottomline's global banking solution consulting capability, driving revenue growth through AI-enabled, multi-product solution design across Digital Banking, Fraud & Risk, and Payments. As a key member of the Global Solutions Leadership Team, this leader partners closely with Sales, Product, Technology, and Value Consulting to translate market and customer needs into differentiated, outcome-driven propositions. The role accelerates deal velocity, influences product direction, and ensures AI-led innovation is embedded into every customer engagement. In partnership with Sales, the Head of Solution Consulting - Banks is accountable for new logo acquisition and expansion of existing banking relationships, contributing directly to Bottomline's revenue growth. The role also builds and develops a high-performing global team that delivers long-term customer value through deep industry expertise and technical credibility.

  • Set a high talent bar through hiring, coaching, development, and performance management across domain, technical, and commercial capabilities.
  • Act as the functional leader for Solution Consulting within the Banks GTM, partnering cross-functionally to align execution with Bottomline's strategic priorities.
  • Define and scale best-in-class methodologies, embedding AI-led innovation, multi-product solutioning, and consistent execution.

Revenue Growth, Solution Strategy & AI Execution
  • Partner with Sales to shape, structure, and support the successful closure of complex, high-value banking opportunities, driving both new logo acquisition and expansion within existing accounts.
  • Lead solution strategy for sophisticated, multi-product deals, aligning customer needs, product capabilities, and commercial outcomes.
  • Deliver differentiated, AI-enabled solution consulting across the pre-sales lifecycle, leveraging emerging AI capabilities to provide high-fidelity demonstrations and live workflow experiences aligned to GTM priorities.

Product, Value & Market Influence
  • Provide market and customer insight to inform product roadmap, positioning, and go-to-market strategy, maintaining a strong feedback loop between customers, Sales, and Product teams.
  • Act as a senior industry voice across banking, payments, and fraud, representing Bottomline in strategic customer engagements and industry forums.
  • Partner with Value Consulting to quantify and communicate economic and AI-driven value, ensuring solutions are scalable, commercially viable, and aligned to delivery capabilities.

If you have the attributes, skills, and experience listed below, we want to hear from you.
  • Proven leadership experience in Solution Consulting or Pre-Sales within SaaS, payments, banking, or financial services, including people leadership.
  • Demonstrated success shaping and winning complex, high-value, multi-product enterprise deals in banking and / or fraud environments.
  • Deep domain expertise in banking, payments, and/or fraud with the credibility to engage senior executives.
