What is a bottle shop?

A bottle shop is a retail store that specializes in selling alcoholic beverages, such as beer, wine, and spirits, for customers to purchase and take home. These shops often carry a wide selection of local and international brands, and may also offer non-alcoholic drinks and related products. In some regions, bottle shops are also known as liquor stores, off-licenses, or package stores.
