About the role:

As an Interventional Solutions Principal Clinical Specialist, you will serve as a highly experienced clinical leader and subject matter expert responsible for driving complex clinical initiatives, advancing therapy adoption and supporting strategic business objectives across Boston Scientific's Interventional Solutions portfolio. In this field-based position, you will partner with physicians, health care systems and internal stakeholders to influence clinical practice, accelerate adoption of innovative therapies and deliver exceptional procedural outcomes.

This role requires advanced clinical expertise, strong leadership capabilities and the ability to operate as a trusted advisor to customers and internal teams. You will help shape territory strategy, support complex accounts and contribute to the development of future clinical talent across the organization.

Within Interventional Solutions, we design, develop and manufacture technologies that diagnose and treat coronary artery disease and other cardiovascular conditions, including acute myocardial infarction. Our portfolio includes drug-eluting stents, drug-coated balloons, bare-metal stents, catheters, balloons, guidewires, coronary atherectomy systems and coronary intravascular ultrasound (IVUS). Supported by a robust portfolio and innovation pipeline, we continue to invest in advancing interventional therapies that improve outcomes for patients around the world.

Your responsibilities will include:

Lead clinical execution of regional and territory strategies designed to drive growth, customer engagement and therapy adoption.

Serve as the highest-level clinical resource within assigned accounts, providing advanced procedural support and clinical consultation.

Support complex coronary interventions and advise physicians on advanced procedural techniques, clinical evidence and best practices.

Develop and deliver advanced customer education programs, physician training initiatives and clinical workshops.

Partner with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to identify and execute strategic account opportunities.

Build and strengthen relationships with key opinion leaders, physician champions and influential stakeholders throughout the territory.

Support the successful launch and adoption of new technologies and therapies through clinical leadership and customer engagement.

Act as a resource for competitive intelligence, market trends and emerging clinical practices.

Lead field training initiatives and provide mentorship, coaching and development support for Clinical Specialists and Senior Clinical Specialists.

Assist with regional projects, field excellence initiatives and strategic business programs as assigned.

Ensure compliance with company policies, quality requirements and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

BA/BS required or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 6 years' experience in medical device sales, healthcare, clinical cardiology or a related clinical field.

Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience supporting coronary interventions and advanced interventional cardiology technologies.

Experience with intravascular imaging, coronary atherectomy and specialty interventional devices.

Demonstrated success developing customer relationships and expanding product utilization.

Experience mentoring or training clinical or commercial team members.

Strong technical aptitude, business acumen and communication skills; advanced degree in health care, business or a related discipline preferred.

The anticipated annualized base amount or range for this full time position will be $130,000, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com.
