Job Overview

We are a well-established manufacturing leader specializing in low-volume, high-precision components for critical, high-stakes industries. We value innovation, precision, and leadership, offering our employees the resources to continuously expand their technical expertise.

Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced CNC Machinists with strong programming, setup, and processing capabilities. In this role, you will not just run parts—you will take ownership of the entire machining process from blueprint to final inspection. You will work with Horizontal mills, lathes with live tooling, and boring mills to manufacture intricate, low-volume, high-precision products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process & Program: Program, set up, and process complex parts using G-Code, Mazatrol, or SurfCam.
  • Setup: Select and set up required tooling and parts, prove out new programs safely, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Machining Operations: Effectively operate Horizontal mills, lathes (with live tooling), and boring mills.
  • Quality Inspection: Read and interpret complex blueprints, and utilize manual inspection tools to ensure strict high-precision tolerances are met.
  • Project Ownership: Manage critical projects independently, troubleshoot processing issues, and display leadership potential on the shop floor.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong background in setup and programming.
  • Proficiency in programming via G-Code, Mazatrol, or SurfCam is highly preferred.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret advanced manufacturing blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experience operating vertical mills, lathes with live tooling, and/or boring mills (5 years)
  • Skilled in using manual inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to verify part precision.
  • Experience with low-volume, high-precision manufacturing is a major plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a desire to take on leadership responsibilities.

What We Offer

  • Top-Tier Pay: Highly competitive compensation at the very top of our local pay scale.
  • Shift Premium: An extra 10% hourly premium for 2nd shift workers.
  • Premium Work Environment: Work in a clean, modern, and fully air-conditioned shop.
  • Career Growth: Opportunities to lead projects, learn diverse machining applications, and advance into leadership roles.
  • Full Benefits Package: Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits.
