Engineering & Integration Manager Riverside, CA / Hybrid Must be eligible to obtain and maintain CBP clearance Blu Omega is seeking an Engineering & Integration Manager to support a federal program focused on border security and surveillance operations. This role operates within a hybrid environment and is responsible for managing and directing engineering and integration efforts supporting mission-critical systems. The position requires experience supporting systems engineering, network engineering, cybersecurity, and systems integration within a mission-driven environment. Program Overview Support U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Air and Marine Operations (AMO) mission activities that help detect, interdict, and prevent terrorism and the unlawful movement of people and contraband through integrated air and marine surveillance and communications capabilities. Key Details Location: Riverside, CA / Hybrid Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain and maintain CBP clearance Responsibilities * Manage and direct the advanced C4I work of the engineering and integration team * Evaluate, analyze, redesign, and enhance C4I user interfaces using C, C++, GTK, and Google Protocol Buffers * Evaluate, analyze, design, and improve C4I and sensor air and maritime movement data systems utilizing C and C++ * Oversee and verify system wiring and data flow technical drawings * Assist with updating maintenance manuals and other contract-required documentation * Oversee the development and maintenance of C4I ancillary systems Required Qualifications * 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, network engineering, or cybersecurity supporting mission-critical systems * Proven experience managing technical teams and systems integration projects * Strong knowledge of C, C++, and related tools for system evaluation and development * Ability to review and verify technical drawings and documentation Preferred Qualifications * Experience supporting border security or surveillance systems * Familiarity with C4I systems and sensor data integration * Prior experience working with international partners in a government environment Compensation Salary Range: $200,000.00 - $230,000.00 Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
