Are you ready to work at a fast-growing company where you can make a difference? Boomi, the data activation company for AI, powers the agentic enterprise by bringing data to life across the business. The award-winning Boomi Enterprise Platform is the active data foundation that delivers essential agentic infrastructure enabling organizations to drive agentic transformation and harness the power of AI with secure, scalable connectivity. Trusted by over 30,000 customers and supported by a network of 800+ partners, Boomi helps organisations of all sizes achieve agility, efficiency, and innovation at scale. At Boomi, you'll work with world-class people and industry-leading technology. We hire trailblazers with an entrepreneurial spirit who can solve challenging problems, make a real impact, and want to be part of building something big. If this sounds like a good fit for you, check out boomi.com or visit our Boomi Careers page to learn more.
How You'll Make An Impact
The Engagement Lead (EL) serves as the primary point of accountability for Managed Service engagements, owning the full lifecycle of client delivery from onboarding through ongoing operations and growth. More than a Program manager and deeper than an account manager, the Engagement Lead combines strategic advisory with hands-on delivery leadership - acting as the trusted partner to client executives, the operational backbone for delivery teams, and a key contributor to business development.
This role demands equal parts technical credibility on the Boomi platform, delivery discipline, executive presence, and commercial acumen. The Engagement Lead is the face of the engagement to the client and the voice of the client inside the organization.
The Engagement Lead is not just a role - it is a commitment to being the steady, trusted presence Boomi's clients count on and the motivating force our delivery teams lean on. If you thrive at the intersection of technology and people, love owning outcomes, and are energized by building lasting client partnerships on a best-in-class integration platform, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
Engagement Ownership
  • Serve as the single point of accountability for one or more Managed Service engagements, owning delivery outcomes, client satisfaction, and contract compliance.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of engagement scope, SLAs, deliverables, milestones, and commercial terms at all times.
  • Develop and manage engagement plans, resource allocations, and delivery schedules - proactively identifying risks and driving resolution.
  • Lead engagement governance including status reporting, steering committee presentations, and executive business reviews both customer facing and internally.
  • Own the escalation path for all critical delivery issues, coordinating internally and communicating transparently with the client.

Client Relationship Management
  • Build and sustain trusted relationships with client stakeholders at all levels - from technical leads to C-suite executives.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to client leadership, understanding their business objectives and ensuring the engagement continuously delivers value aligned to those goals.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively communicate changes, risks, or opportunities before they become issues.
  • Drive client satisfaction and loyalty, serving as the primary voice of the client internally.

Boomi Platform & Technical Advisory
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of the Boomi platform - including integration design, AtomSphere architecture, AI Agent Studio, API management, EDI, and master data hub - sufficient to guide delivery decisions and credibly advise clients.
  • Collaborate with technical architects and developers to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and aligned with Boomi best practices.
  • Translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, and business requirements for technical teams.
  • Stay current on Boomi product roadmap and new capabilities, identifying opportunities to expand value for clients.

Team Leadership, Coaching & Mentorship
  • Lead, inspire, and coordinate cross-functional delivery teams including developers, architects, analysts, and support resources.
  • Foster a high-performance culture within the engagement team through clear expectations, constructive feedback, and recognition.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members - supporting career development, onboarding, and skills growth on the Boomi platform and delivery practices.
  • Partner with resource management to ensure the right talent is engaged at the right time across the engagement lifecycle.

Commercial Growth & Sales Collaboration
  • Identify and qualify expansion opportunities within existing engagements - additional workstreams, new use cases, or platform capability gaps.
  • Partner closely with the Sales and Account Management teams to develop and pursue growth opportunities, contributing to proposals and presentations.
  • Maintain awareness of contract renewals, T&M consumption, and budget status, flagging risks and opportunities to leadership.
  • Represent the organization professionally and compellingly in commercial conversations with clients.
The Experience You Bring
  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise technology services, managed services, consulting, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience owning and managing complex client engagements, including resource management, delivery governance, and executive stakeholder relationships.
  • Hands-on experience with the Boomi platform (integration development, API management, or platform operations); Boomi Professional or Architect certification strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record delivering software projects in agile and/or waterfall environments with measurable client outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills - with the ability to adapt style from executive boardrooms to technical war rooms.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage escalations and navigate difficult conversations with professionalism and client empathy.
  • Experience working with or alongside Sales teams to identify and develop new opportunities.
Bonus Points If You Have
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience in a TAM (Technical Account Manager) or CSM (Customer Success Manager) capacity, with demonstrated commercial accountability.
  • Background in integration, middleware, or iPaaS technologies beyond Boomi (e.g., MuleSoft, Azure Logic Apps, Informatica).
  • Experience coaching and mentoring technical teams in a matrixed, remote-first environment.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or similar service management frameworks.
