Job Brief
We're partnering confidentially with a well-established property management company in Sausalito to find an Office Assistant / Bookkeeper who wants real room to grow. This is a great fit for someone who's organized, upbeat, and energized by keeping a busy office running like clockwork.
You'll become the backbone of the office - the person tenants, vendors, and the management team all rely on to get things done right and on time.
The Role
As Office Assistant / Bookkeeper, you'll own the day-to-day administrative and bookkeeping functions that keep the business moving: tenant and vendor communication, accounts payable, credit card reconciliation, and office organization. You'll work closely with the management team, with a clear path to grow your responsibilities as you prove yourself.
Success in this role means being responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities without dropping the ball.
What You'll Do
- Answer phones and emails, providing polite, professional assistance
- Maintain tenant and vendor files
- Handle credit card reconciliation and accounts payable
- Get quotes for new construction jobs
- Follow up on insurance requirements from tenants and vendors
- Manage time cards for contractors
- Maintain and organize the filing system in Google Drive
- Update company forms as needed
- Create and maintain spreadsheets
- Prepare expense reports
- Help keep company policy and procedure manuals current
