A Japanese accounting firm located in Oakland, California is seeking an Admin / Bookkeeping Assistant.

<Job Overview>
This is an Admin + AP / Bookkeeping Support position at an accounting firm.
Accounting knowledge or qualifications are not required, and entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.

<Job Responsibilities>
・Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other channels
・Prepare and manage documents
・Handle general administrative tasks
・Assist with Accounts Payable (AP)
・Provide bookkeeping support
・Perform other office and administrative support duties as needed

<Requirements>
・Approximately 1–3 years of administrative experience
・U.S. office work experience is preferred
Professional or fluent-level Japanese proficiency
・Friendly, positive personality with strong communication skills
・Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
・Ability to proactively communicate and clearly ask questions when unsure
