Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Internal Bookkeeper to manage the financial records of three affiliated healthcare companies. This role requires strong experience in QuickBooks and Excel, along with the ability to handle multi-entity bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting. The ideal candidate will be proactive, accurate, and capable of working independently while providing timely financial insights to support leadership.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate day-to-day financial records for three healthcare entities.
  • Enter, classify, and reconcile transactions across accounts, credit cards, and payroll.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely billing and collections.
  • Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets in Excel for financial analysis and tracking as needed.
  • Generate monthly financial reports (P amp;L, balance sheets, cash flow, etc.) for each entity.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and coordinate with billing as needed.
  • Support the accountant with tax preparation and annual audits.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical financial files.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience; healthcare industry experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
  • Experience managing financials across multiple entities.
