Role Description

This is a part-time on-site Store Operations Associate role located in Downtown Los Angeles, with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time position.

The Store Associate will be responsible for assisting customers, maintaining customer loyalty, providing excellent customer service, and executing retail sales. Additionally, the Store Associate will support store management duties such as inventory management and ensuring a welcoming store environment.

  • In-person schedule (Must be available to work in DTLA office)
  • Works closely with Assistant Store Manager
  • Compensation - $22 per hour, plus team-based monthly bonus incentive

Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering their questions, providing product information, and addressing any concerns or complaints.
  • Sales: Actively engaging with customers to promote and sell products or services, utilizing effective sales techniques, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Product Knowledge: Developing a deep understanding of the store's products or services, staying updated on new arrivals or promotions, and effectively communicating product features and benefits to customers.
  • Cashiering and Point-of-Sale (POS) Operations: Processing customer purchases accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, or other forms of payment, and maintaining accurate records of sales and transactions.
  • Merchandising: Maintaining the visual appeal and organization of the store, including arranging and restocking products, ensuring proper product placement, and participating in inventory management.
  • Store Operations: Assisting with opening or closing procedures, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of the store, monitoring and reporting any maintenance or safety issues, and following store policies and procedures.
  • Social Media: Assisting with the management and maintenance of Bonnie Clydes Store social media accounts and collaborating with the marketing team to create engaging social media content such as photos, videos, and written posts.
