KBTX Media operates the CBS and CW affiliates in Bryan-College Station, Texas, serving an 18-county area known as the Brazos Valley. Job Summary/Description:

KBTX, the CBS affiliate serving the Bryan/College Station market and home of the Texas A&M Aggies, is looking for a driven and consultative Media Executive to join our sales team. This is a rare chance to represent one of Brazos Valley’s most trusted local media brands and to build a high-earning career selling the most powerful multi-platform marketing solutions in the area.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Prospect and develop new advertising clients across the Bryan/College Station market using a relentless hunter mentality, cold calls, warm leads, networking, and everything in between.
• Own the full sales cycle from first conversation to close, managing your pipeline with accuracy in our CRM platform.
• Build and present custom multi-platform marketing campaigns tailored to each client's business goals and budget.
• Serve as a trusted marketing consultant, uncovering your clients' real pain points and solving them with data-driven strategies across TV and digital.
• Develop and grow a book of business through strong relationship management and consistent campaign results.
• Collaborate with our creative teams to bring client campaigns to life.
• Meet and exceed monthly revenue goals and budget targets.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum of one year of outside sales experience, or a recent college graduate with a strong sales internship, or demonstrated competitive drive
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable personal transportation for out-of-office meetings
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Preferred (not required):
• Media or advertising sales experience
• Familiarity with digital marketing platforms (OTT, SEM, SEO, social, etc.)
• Experience using a CRM platform for pipeline management
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
