The Adventist Health Northwest Heart Center, located on our medical center campus, provides advanced cardiovascular care, bringing together expert providers, innovative treatments and compassionate support for patients across the region.<br> <br>Job Summary:<br> <br>Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy.<br> <br>Job Requirements:<br><br>Education and Work Experience:<br> <ul> <li>Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred</li> </ul><br>Licenses/Certifications:<br> <ul> <li>Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required</li> <li>Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA</li> <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required</li> <li>Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR</li> </ul><br>Facility Specific License/Certifications:<br> <ul> <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required</li> <li>ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Required</li> </ul><br>Essential Functions:<br> <ul> <li>Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.</li> <li>Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.</li> <li>Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.</li> <li>Maintains accurate records, files and billing information.
