Requirements
General requirements of an Automotive Master Technician are (this is not an all-inclusive list):

  • Ability to read, interpret, write and speak technical documents in English. Hablo Espanol es una ventaja!
  • Valid driver's license
  • Have all Current ASE Certification in A series and G1 certification to meet ASE guidelines for Master Technician.
  • Be able to maintain an organized neat and safe work area
  • Possess a high level of motivation, energy and customer focused attitude
  • Be reliable and able to work a flexible schedule depending on business needs
  • Be able to stand on concrete or metal surfaces for extended periods of time
  • Be able to work in an environment that frequently experiences extreme hot and cold temperatures, loud noises and exhaust fumes.
  • Be able to lift and move inventory items, trash cans and other work-related items (up to 50lbs.)
  • Be able to work at a rapid pace for long periods of time.
  • Be able to push, pull, pull-up, bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head/neck/shoulders as needed, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands - all for extended periods of time and/or many times throughout the work shift.
