Duties * You will serve as boiler plant operator on a rotating watch assignment, operating, maintaining, and performing preventive maintenance on high pressure utility boilers and related machinery, equipment and systems. * You will independently start, operate, adjust, stop, maintain, and perform various operational repairs in multiple-fuel (oil and natural gas) power boilers and associated auxiliary and pollution control equipment. * You will check measurement devices (e.g., feed water regulators, flow meters, flue gas temperature gauges, water level indicators) to determine if boilers are operating within prescribed limits.

* You will perform operational maintenance and make repairs of limited/moderate complexity on mechanical or electrical parts. * You will maintain narrative log on plant operating conditions and communicate plant status to supervisor, leader, and next shift operators.
