Job description

Job Title: Maintenance Technician / Boiler Operator – Third Shift 11 pm – 7 am

Pay Range: $33–$39/hour


The Job You Will Perform:

We are seeking a self-motivated Maintenance Technician / Boiler Operator to join our third shift team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a flexible, fast-paced production environment and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and productivity.


Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including lubrication, calibration, run-out measurement, component alignment, and observation of equipment operations, vibration, and noise.
Troubleshoot and perform emergency/breakdown maintenance to support continuous plant operations.
Execute mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam system repairs and installations.
Operate and interpret results from various measuring and test equipment accurately.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including work area cleanup upon task completion.
Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance records and other required documentation.
Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and best practices.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.


The Skills You Will Bring:

Valid Minnesota 2B Boiler License or higher.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in pneumatics, electrical systems, PLCs, and hydraulics.
Ability to read and use various measurement tools and devices accurately.
Broad experience in mechanical, electrical, and machine shop operations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance experience, with at least one (1) year at the same employer.


Preferred Qualifications:

Technical degree or apprenticeship certification.
Maintenance experience in the corrugated industry or a similar manufacturing environment.
Candidates advancing in the selection process will be required to complete a skills test, participate in a panel interview, and pass a background check, drug screen, and pre-employment health assessment.
