Job description

Joe Myers Toyota is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Body Shop Receptionist to join our Collision Center team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while ensuring the front office operates efficiently. If you enjoy working with people, have strong organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply. This is a full-time position, Monday through Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position requires working every other Saturday.

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Schedule body shop estimates, repair appointments, and customer follow-ups.
  • Assist customers with repair status updates and general inquiries.
  • Open and maintain repair orders accurately.
  • Process payments and balance daily receipts.
  • Communicate effectively with insurance companies, customers, and body shop staff.
  • Maintain customer records and file documentation.
  • Perform general clerical duties, including scanning, copying, filing, and data entry.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
  • Provide administrative support to the Body Shop Manager and Estimators as needed.
Qualifications
  • Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Automotive dealership or collision center experience is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
