As a body shop helper, you will be responsible for a number of things throughout the shop.
Responsibilities included, but not limited to the following:
  • Working business hours Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
  • Assist the fast-paced team
  • Thoroughly check-in and check-out customer vehicles
  • Valet customers as needed
  • Deliver vehicles for sublet work as needed
  • Take trash out for body and paint side of shop (break down cardboard boxes)
  • Organization of shop (jacks, stands, carts, etc.)
  • Charging of vehicle scanners and shop battery chargers
  • Grates cleaned out and flushed with water
  • Eye wash station report sheets completed weekly
  • Spray down shop floors and sweep
  • Assist technicians & estimators with anything needed, including vehicle teardowns, reassembling vehicles, clean parts for paint, etc

Qualification:
  • High school or equivalent
  • Clean driving record
  • Passion for the automotive industry
  • Eagerness to learn
  • High motivation to work for a luxury brand
  • Positive energy when interacting with customers
  • Ability to work within a team, maintaining focus and attention to detail at all times
  • Excellent opportunity to move into other role within the dealership
