Responsibilities of a Body Shop Technician entail:

  • Work with the Foreman to determine reparability and to prioritize tasks of the job
  • Apply decal designs to trucks after cleaning surfaces
  • Visually inspect parts after processing for defects
  • Identify nonconforming or defective components and take appropriate corrective action
  • Perform routine maintenance on polishing machines, including daily cleaning and routine lubrication
  • Maintain or exceed efficiency goals

Requirements

The requirements to be a Body Shop Technician:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Prior Body Shop experience preferred
  • Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and DOT medical card
