Bobst Die Cutter Operator (2nd Shift)
Join one of Orange County’s favorite commercial printers. We’re a fun-loving, high-performing team of skilled craftsmen. With many long-term employees and almost 50 years in business, we’re still innovating to serve our clients and provide rewarding growth opportunities for our team.

Westamerica is seeking a 2nd Shift Bobst Die Cutter Operator to join our Manufacturing team. This is a key position for a skilled press operator who’s ready to run high-quality packaging and print projects.

âś… Responsibilities:

  • Operate Bobst die cutter with a focus on efficiency, quality, and safety
  • Make ready for individual project requirements. Works with Department Lead for approval.
  • Ability to understand Job Ticket Instructions, Proofs, and White Samples.
  • Understand and perform preventive maintenance on the machine.
  • Spot-checking throughout the production run, ensuring no changes or deviations from approved samples, Proofs, or Quality are occurring.

  • 3–5 years of experience operating Bobst or similar die-cutting equipment.
  • Troubleshooting knowledge when machine is down
  • Must be organized and have the desire to perform at the highest level.
  • The position requires a detail-oriented individual with good communication skills.
  • Individuals must also be “Self-starters” and “Team players” to succeed.
  • Manages consumables to ensure adequate inventory and maintains organization of dies.
  • Use of a pallet jack to move materials from one area to another.
  • Maintain organized, clean, and safe work area.
