Welcome to The HOUSEpitality Family! We are the restaurant group who owns and operates all Boathouse, Casa del Barco, Island Shrimp Co., and Can Can Brasserie locations in and around Richmond, VA.
Our Guests come to us to Celebrate Life one bit at a time with great views, unique character, and delicious food! We are looking for passionate professionals that want to provide exceptional service while having fun and making money. Flexible in-store training. PTO accrual starts on day one!
An individual in this entry-level position should be a committed, communicative team player with excellent time management skills. He/she should be able to prioritize tasks in a busy setting and adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures.
Position Expectations:
  • Ensuring the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware, and resetting dining areas.
  • Preparing the kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking cook stations.
  • Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, mixers, etc.
  • Unloading and storing deliveries.
  • Sweeping and mopping floors, especially in the event that items are broken or spilled.
  • Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans.
  • Supporting other restaurant staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed.
  • Reporting kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned
