Job description

$18 an hour Plus Gratuity. Weekly Pay. Fun team environment.
Experienced Cook Needed. Steady 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. shift. Must be available weekends and holidays. Looking for someone reliable with a team-first attitude.

Execute the Line

• Cook and plate menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and ticket times.

• Work one or more stations (grill, sauté, fry, pantry) during busy rushes.

• Keep your station stocked, clean, and organized throughout service.

• Maintain Quality & Consistency

• Follow all recipes, specs, and presentation standards so every dish looks and tastes the same.

• Taste and check food for proper seasoning, temperature, and doneness.

• Communicate clearly with the Kitchen Manager and expo to keep tickets moving smoothly.

• Practice Food Safety & Cleanliness

• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines (including airport and ATL requirements).

• Label, date, and store food correctly; practice FIFO and proper cooling/reheating.

• Help with daily and weekly cleaning tasks: equipment, line, refrigeration, storage.

• Support the Team

• Assist with prep (chopping, portioning, sauces, batters, etc.) before and after service.

• Jump in where needed – dish area, prep, or another station – to support the team.

• Communicate respectfully and professionally in a tight, high-volume kitchen.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2 years of line cook experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred (airport, hotel, or busy casual dining a plus).

• Comfort working tickets quickly during peak rushes while staying accurate and organized.

Skills & Traits

• Strong knife skills and basic cooking techniques (grill, sauté, fry, broil, reheating).

• Ability to read tickets and follow recipes and prep lists without constant supervision.

• Sense of urgency with a calm, professional attitude.

• Team player who takes feedback well and wants to get better over time.

Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs for extended periods.

• Ability to work in a hot, confined kitchen environment.

• Availability for a mix of early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays (airport schedule).

• Must be able to pass airport badging and background checks required by ATL.
