Excellent Earning Potential for an Experienced Boat Sales Professional

Boater's World Marine Centers is looking for a polished and experienced boating industry Sales Professional for our Grand Prairie, Texas location.

If you have been in the industry for several years and have a proven successful sales record, then this could be the position for you.

The Boat Sales Professional at Boater's World Marine Centers sells boats, boat motors, and other products to email, telephone, and walk-in customers. With a worldwide presence, the holder of this position will follow-up, quote, and close a high volume of requests, in a professional and efficient manner.

A minimum of 3 years of boating industry experience in sales is required for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities

Primary duties and responsibilities, not limited to:

Customer Service

  • Maintains a neat and professional appearance
  • Create and strengthen relationships with customers by creating a customer-centric experience
  • Assist all customers in need, regardless of department (sales, service, or parts)
  • Maintain a tidy workspace
  • Inform management of customer service opportunities
  • Enhances organization by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add value

Sales

  • Assists and guides customer inquiries that lead to increased sales revenue
  • Maintain constant flow of prospects into and out of the sales funnel
  • Fulfill customer inquiries and follow-up as appropriate
  • Successfully close sales transactions that benefit the customer, business, and salesperson
  • Accurately enter sale into dealer management system, and process appropriate paperwork
  • Take ownership of the sales process from initial call to post-sale follow-up

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of boating industry sales experience
  • Must be a team player
  • Proven sales ability and track-record in a similar industry
  • Basic knowledgeable of boats, motors, and general marine products
  • Strong computer usage ability (everything is computerized)
  • Must be highly motivated to increase sales

Working Conditions

  • Shop/office environment that may require kneeling, bending, climbing, twisting, and lifting heavy objects
  • Will require extensive use of telephone and computer system
  • May be required to work more than 40 hours, weekends, and holidays
