PURPOSE

To oversee all staff in the front of the house by monitoring all dining areas for quality food, beverage, service and overall cleanliness; maintaining standards and policies; ensuring total guest satisfaction; managing timely, accurate and thorough record keeping of personnel, sales and labor and acting as a liaison between Service Staff and Management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide direct supervision and mentoring to Lead Cashiers and Cashiers by actively using verbal and written communication, i.e. memos, bulletin boards
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all service staff positions, policies, and procedures; Spend majority of shift on the floor observing, delegating tasks and coaching all service staff.
  • Will fill in at any position when needed to ensure proper staffing and guest service, and to maintain labor controls within budget expectations.
  • Communication with guests to address and answer questions, complaints or concerns in a timely and professional fashion as defined by department policies including questions regarding food, beverage, recipes and prices, communication with service staff and management via memos, bulletin boards, shift reports and staff meetings.
  • Training and continual education of staff on service and guest expectations and assisting team members in the completing all tasks associated with their position.
  • Will work professionally with the BOH and communicate effectively with weekly meetings held.
  • Counseling, Coaching, Mentoring and any administrative duties.
  • Oversee and maintain the cleanliness and production standards to casino standards.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD)
  • Two (2) years supervisory/lead experience in a high-volume a la carte venue or equivalent experience required internally.
  • Any combination of education and experience that clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the job duties of the position.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers in a fast-paced, demanding environment with short time frames.
  • Agilysys POS System or similar

Skills and Abilities:

  • Computer knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions.
