To start as a biomedical equipment technician with no experience, pursue relevant education such as a technical certificate or associate degree in biomedical technology or electronics. Gaining hands-on experience through internships or entry-level technician roles, and obtaining certifications like the Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET), can improve job prospects and demonstrate competence in maintaining medical devices.
