NAVA Software solutions is looking for a Sr. Validation Engineer (Bluetooth & Wireless Technology)
Role: Sr. Validation Engineer (Bluetooth & Wireless Technology)
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite)
Position Type: Fulltime
Duration: Permanent (Direct Hire)

As a Senior Sr. Validation Engineer you will:
  • Work closely with a set of Senior Engineers for the following systems, working 'on-site' at our facility at Sunnyvale and/or our Customer facility in Sunnyvale, to do deep dive testing of BT modules from product perspective
  • Also, this individual is expected to work with customer point of contact and client's Global architects/Tech leaders to define, design and develop test plans and understand test setup.
  • For the chosen system; review with the Customer on a regular basis and tracking project schedule in line to the KPIs
  • Mange the technical relationship with the Customer and the Off-Shore delivery team, to deliver solutions to time, cost and quality.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Understanding of CE Devices Architecture
  • Minimum 8 years of Testing Experience in Bluetooth connectivity of products, especially on various phases of product bring up
  • Troubleshoot devices (Routers, Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android) and fix the issues.
  • Good understanding of ADB as well as iOS fundamentals to test BT modules.
  • Should be able to add value to product by providing suggestions to improve performance and other KPIs
  • Should be capable of setting up and configuring BT lab devices and chambers
  • Responsible for test coverage analysis and system level HW/SW validation testing
  • Should have excellent interpersonal and customer relational Skills.
  • Active participation is Sprint planning and Retrospective meetings with customer
  • Embedded development/design experience required

Experience Requirements - Bluetooth
  • Core understanding of Bluetooth short range wireless technology which includes Classic and Low energy
  • Experience in developing profiles and protocols for BT 5.2/4.1/4.0,2.1+EDR
  • Have good theoretical understanding of BLE Audio
  • Have Good understanding of Bluez, Bluedroid and Fluoride stack architectures and developed custom profiles on these stacks
  • Experience in Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) profiles like GATT, GAP, SMP PXP, FMP, HOGP, HRM, LE secure connection etc
  • Experience in enhancing the bluetooth classic profiles like A2DP, AVRCP, HFP, OPP, HID,PBAP
  • Should have hands on experience in using Sniffers like Wireshark
  • Should be able to debug and provide root cause analysis reports/suggestions to development team.
  • Experience in debugging and issue fixing for bluetooth Classic and BLE
  • Good understanding of Bluetooth profile/protocol and Wi-Fi standards.
  • Good understanding of Bluetooth SIG specifications.
  • Knowledge of IEEE 802.11 protocol standard in 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz frequency band.
