Bluetooth Embedded Software Engineer, Wireless Technologies & Ecosystems

Join the Wireless Technologies and Ecosystems organization and be part of an outstanding team of engineers driving innovation and developing products used by millions worldwide. Our team seeks a highly motivated embedded software engineer to design and develop Bluetooth for Apple’s next-generation products.

Description

Be a vital member of the wireless connectivity team at Apple. You will design and develop embedded software for Bluetooth at the MAC layer and be involved in our products from beginning to end. In developing for the Apple ecosystem, you will have the opportunity to tackle complex problems, utilize technology, and work with other exceptional engineers across a wide range of teams to create unique products.

Minimum Qualifications
  • You have 5+ years of embedded software development experience
  • You have strong coding skills in C
  • You're experienced in the design & development of embedded software for real-time operation, especially on ARM processors
  • You have a thorough understanding of Bluetooth
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $150,400 and $277,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
