Responsibilities of Caring Partner:

  • Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility support, and changing linens.

  • Provide supportive services to help ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs are met each day.

  • Support licensed and certified staff in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by tidying resident rooms and ensuring spaces are orderly.

  • Ensure call bells, bed controls, and essential items are within reach to promote resident safety and independence.

  • Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction to enhance residents’ emotional well-being and quality of life.

  • Support a culture of teamwork, kindness, and dignity in all interactions with residents, families, and team members.

Qualifications for Caring Partner:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Ability to speak, read, and understand the English language.

  • Must be able to work collaboratively with multiple residents and team members in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to care for and support older adults.

  • Ability to follow directions and work as part of a supportive care team.
