Salary: $35-$45/hr

Overview:

The Document Control (Bluebeam Specialist) is responsible for organizing, managing, and maintaining all project documentation throughout the construction lifecycle. This role ensures accuracy, consistency, and timely distribution of documents across project teams, with a strong focus on leveraging Bluebeam Revu for document review, markup, workflows, and version control.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain document control processes, procedures, and standards for all project documentation.
  • Manage the receipt, distribution, tracking, and storage of construction documents including drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, addenda, ASIs, and closeout materials.
  • Lead, maintain, and optimize Bluebeam Revu document workflows including Studio Sessions, version comparison, markup standards, and collaborative review processes.
  • Create and manage Bluebeam tool sets, profiles, and document templates for consistent team usage.
  • Ensure document accuracy by performing quality checks for file naming, metadata completeness, version control, and revision history.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, architects, and owners to ensure documents are distributed accurately and on time.
  • Track and expedite submittals, RFIs, drawing reviews, and other documentrelated workflows.
  • Maintain document logs, transmittals, and audit trails for compliance and reporting needs.
  • Support digital transformation efforts by training staff in Bluebeam and other construction document management tools.
  • Assist in project closeout activities including compiling O&M manuals, asbuilts, warranties, and turnover packages.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 37 years of experience in construction document control, project administration, or related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Bluebeam Revu including Studio Sessions, batch tools, markup management, and digital workflow configuration.
  • Strong understanding of construction documents, terminology, and project delivery methods.
  • Experience with additional document management systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with diverse project stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Bluebeam.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on large-scale commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with construction workflows such as submittal review cycles, RFIs, and drawing lifecycle management.
  • Bluebeam certifications such as Bluebeam Certified User or Power User are highly preferred.
