Job description:

I. Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bluebeam Document Control Specialist to support engineering and construction projects in Baltimore, Maryland. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Bluebeam Revu, document control processes, and managing large volumes of technical documents in a fast-paced project environment.
This role plays a critical part in maintaining document accuracy, version control, and workflow efficiency across project teams.
II. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
  • Manage and maintain project documents using Bluebeam Revu and document management systems
    Establish and enforce document control procedures, naming conventions, and version control protocols
    Track, log, and distribute incoming and outgoing project documents (drawings, RFIs, submittals, reports, etc.)
    Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards
    Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and external stakeholders to ensure timely document flow
    Maintain document registers, logs, and filing systems (electronic and/or physical)
    Assist with document retrieval, archiving, and audits
    Support markups, collaboration sessions, and workflow automation within Bluebeam
    Ensure compliance with company policies and client requirements
III. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven experience using Bluebeam Revu for document control and collaboration
    Experience in engineering, construction, or AEC environments preferred
    Strong knowledge of document management workflows and best practices
    Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
    Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment
    Strong communication and coordination skills
