Job description

Job Summary

The position provides operational support for restoration activities involving client contents. Primary job functions include tasks related to contents manipulation, packing, transporting, cleaning, deodorizing, and storage. This position will be required to use a variety of specialized equipment and cleaning chemicals under supervision. Job duties will be completed both at client sites and at our facility.

General Accountabilities

  • Maintain equipment used in daily tasks.
  • Manipulate contents at client sites to support efficient remediation activity which will be subsequently completed at our facility
  • Correctly wrap and package contents according to standard operating procedures to prevent damage during transport
  • Transport contents to our facility for cleaning and storage
  • Adhere to all MSDS recognized standards
  • Perform daily vehicle safety & maintenance inspections. Maintain vehicles in clean serviceable condition.
  • Must have a comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles, & practices.

Job Qualifications

  • Construction, restoration, or insurance industry experience is preferred.
  • Ability to properly identify proper product usage and disposal requirements for packing activity as outlined in standard operating procedures and training
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle per Blue Kangaroo Packoutz's vehicle policy.
  • Maintain a sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment through collaboration with other team members.
  • Possess a genuine desire to help others during difficult life events.
  • Ability to frequently lift an excess of 50lbs and maintain mobility in tight spaces.
