What are Restopros?

Restopros are professionals who specialize in the restoration and preservation of various properties, such as homes, businesses, or historical buildings, after damage from water, fire, mold, or other disasters. They are trained to assess damage, perform cleanup, and restore affected areas to their original or improved condition. Restopros often work with insurance companies and property owners to ensure that repairs are completed efficiently and safely. Their expertise includes the use of specialized equipment and techniques to address a wide range of restoration needs.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Restoration Technician, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Restoration Technician, you need a solid understanding of restoration processes, safety protocols, and basic construction skills, often supported by a high school diploma or relevant certifications. Familiarity with industry tools like moisture meters, air movers, and restoration management software, as well as certifications from the IICRC, are commonly required. Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and effective communication are vital soft skills in this role. These skills and qualities ensure efficient restoration, safety, and customer satisfaction in challenging environments.

What are some common challenges faced by Restopros and how can they be addressed on the job?

Restopros often manage a fast-paced environment where multitasking and quick decision-making are essential. Challenges may include handling high customer volumes during peak hours, coordinating effectively with kitchen and wait staff, and maintaining consistent service quality. To address these, strong communication skills, a calm demeanor under pressure, and familiarity with point-of-sale systems are highly valuable. Proactively seeking feedback and participating in ongoing training can also help Restopros adapt and excel in dynamic restaurant settings.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Reputation Management: Provide best-in-class service to maintain RestoPros’ premium reputation and quickly resolve customer concerns.

Successful Candidates Must Have:

  • Proven track record in territory sales, field sales, or business development (3+ years preferred).
  • Comfortable with in-person prospecting, drop-in sales visits to referral partners, and networking-based business development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to connect with others.
  • Self-starter mindset with a passion for achieving results.
  • Ability to manage a pipeline, meet revenue goals, and close deals.
  • Tech-savvy and able to manage leads and client info through CRM systems.
  • Industry experience or knowledge in restoration, construction, or plumbing is a major plus.
  • Existing referral relationships with plumbers, insurance professionals, or contractors within the Eastside area are highly desirable.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check.

If you're an energetic, motivated professional with a passion for sales and a knack for building lasting relationships, we want to hear from you. Help us grow our footprint in Puget Sound —and grow your career with a company that values your contributions.
