Summary of Job: Reporting to the General Manager of Blue Sky, the HVAC Install Manager will be responsible for Blue Sky's most profitable department. 

Successful outcomes will be attained by working with Senior Leadership to align and deliver results through setting goals and KPI's, aligning our Blue Sky Purpose and Values to deliver exceptional customer service and outcomes for our team members, our customers, and the communities in which we live & serve. 

Coordination and collaboration with department managers will be critical to your success. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and develop a dynamic team of over 12+ team members in a high-growth and rapidly changing environment 
  • Demonstrate strategic decision-making by using sales data, technician feedback, KPI's, and process accountability 
  • Define and cascade annual revenue targets, commission structures, and leads the overall planning process. 
  • Build a training program that gets the team to one-day install swap outs as the standard, not the exception
  • Assist Install Pro's and help them to achieve their goals 
  • Establish, foster, and drive strong relationships with other Blue Sky departments to provide open lines of communication for feedback, job scheduling and lead generation 
  • Inspire and motivate a team of experienced Field professionals to achieve results through technical training and professional development 
  • Resolve client issues in a timely fashion with defined closure 
  • Develop and maintain a strong culture to aid recruitment and increase retention. 
  • Develop, coach and mentor your team into a highly functioning group 
  • Anticipate challenges and develop plans to overcome 
  • Foster an environment of collaboration and accountability

  • Previous management and leadership experience required 
  • Proven ability to inspire both personal and professional growth in our team members 
  • Strategic thinking capabilities to evaluate, assess, and make recommendations for change 
  • Analytical and capable of navigating data to derive insights and define strategies 
  • Ability to provide unparalleled client satisfaction 
  • Ability to drive team performance to achieve all business goals and objectives 
  • Be detail oriented and a highly organized multi-tasker with good presentation skills and the ability to convey confident and decisive messages in a fast-paced and goal-driven environment 
  • Able to conduct team / large group meetings effectively, utilizing various forms of presentation tools. 
  • Ability to direct and lead effective and efficient performance of a team. 
  • Effective communication, negotiation skills and customer focus 
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office 
  • Service Titan experience preferred 
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while managing multiple priorities

Physical Demands/Working Conditions: 

To adequately perform the duties of this job, you will regularly and routinely be required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, use hands, fingers, handle controls, hear, and talk. Individuals may need to sit at a desk or table for long periods of time. You frequently will be required to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Employees in an office environment may be required to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds depending on the position.
