Job description

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Unarmed Security Officer in Nashville and surrounding areas to uphold safety and security across commercial buildings, industrial sites, and federal buildings. This role involves solo assignments or small team operations, requiring proactive surveillance, swift incident response, and effective conflict management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security practices and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment through physical presence, law enforcement coordination, and thorough reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor premises through CCTV systems and conduct regular patrols to detect security threats
  • Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies, liaising with law enforcement when necessary
  • Control access by inspecting personnel, visitors, and deliveries to prevent unauthorized entry or theft
  • Manage conflict situations calmly and professionally to de-escalate tensions
  • Document all incidents accurately with detailed report writing
  • Maintain physical security and presence across assigned sites
  • Coordinate minimally with law enforcement agencies as required

Required Qualifications
