Company Overview
Blue Energy's mission is to unlock energy abundance, energy affordability, energy security, and turn-key decarbonization by developing the fastest path to deploying new nuclear MWs at scale. We are utilizing shipyard manufacturing supply chains and techniques from offshore oil and wind to reduce the cost of nuclear plants by over 60% and the manufacturing timeline to 24 months. Blue Energy is a platform technology that makes use of the latest NRC-approved reactors and is in negotiations with existing nuclear and industrial sites, enabling a much faster regulatory pathway to deploy our first unit. With our innovative centralized shipyard manufacturing approach, we can put nuclear power on a cost-reduction learning curve akin to wind, solar, and lithium-ion batteries.
Role Summary
The Senior Technical Recruiter will partner closely with the Lead Technical Recruiter to support companyโ€‘wide hiring during a period of rapid growth. This role will own fullโ€‘cycle recruitment for highly technical and businessโ€‘critical positions across Engineering, Commercial, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Corporate functions. The ideal candidate brings strong technical recruiting expertise, operates with a high degree of autonomy, and thrives in fastโ€‘moving, missionโ€‘driven start-up environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own fullโ€‘cycle recruiting for a range of technical and nonโ€‘technical roles, from intake through offer acceptance
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, hiring strategies, and interview plans
  • Proactively source and engage highโ€‘caliber candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other channels
  • Drive an exceptional candidate experience through clear communication and efficient process management
  • Collaborate with the Lead Technical Recruiter to prioritize roles, manage pipelines, and meet aggressive hiring timelines
  • Maintain accurate data and reporting within the ATS, ensuring process consistency and compliance

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of fullโ€‘cycle recruiting experience, with a strong focus on technical roles
  • Proven success recruiting engineers and other highly specialized technical profiles
  • Experience working in highโ€‘growth startups or scaling organizations
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence hiring decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, dataโ€‘driven, and comfortable managing multiple searches simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience recruiting within energy, infrastructure, industrial, or climate tech sectors
  • Familiarity with complex engineering disciplines (nuclear, mechanical, electrical, civil, or similar)
  • Prior experience partnering closely with a small or lean recruiting team
  • Exposure to building recruiting processes or improving hiring workflows
  • Passion for Blue Energy's mission and interest in clean energy deployment
