Job description

We are seeking an experienced Ciena Blue Planet Network Automation Architect to design, implement, and govern advanced network orchestration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Ciena Blue Planet MDSO, Blue Planet Inventory (BPI), and Blue Planet Analytics along with expertise in network automation, OSS/BSS integration, and cloud-native architectures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design end-to-end network automation and orchestration architectures using Ciena Blue Planet products.
  • Develop and govern solutions using Blue Planet MDSO, BPI, and Analytics platforms.
  • Define logical, physical, and deployment architectures for large-scale network environments.
  • Integrate OSS/BSS systems with network automation platforms.
  • Drive network orchestration, service automation, and SDN/NFV-based solutions.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, highly available, secure, and cloud-ready.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver automation initiatives.
  • Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and best practices for network transformation.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in network engineering, architecture, or automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Ciena Blue Planet products.
  • Experience with Blue Planet MDSO, Blue Planet Inventory (BPI), and Blue Planet Analytics.
  • Strong understanding of network orchestration, automation, and service management.
  • Experience integrating OSS/BSS systems.
  • Knowledge of SDN, NFV, cloud-native networking, and modern network architectures.
  • Experience designing highly available and secure enterprise network solutions.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with telecom/service provider environments.
  • Knowledge of API-based integrations and automation frameworks.
