The Blow Molding Technician plays a key role in ensuring efficient production and high-quality output by operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining blow molding equipment. We will also consider training a candidate with high mechanical ability and previous experience with production equipment. 

Responsibilities
  • Perform mold start-ups and assist with mold change-overs and tooling conversions
  • Perform automation, robot set-up, and troubleshooting
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot blow molding machines, conveyors, chillers, dryers, and other auxiliary equipment
  • Conduct color set-ups and ensure proper material handling
  • Monitor quality control lines during start-up and throughout the shift, making equipment adjustments as needed to maintain product quality
  • Minimize production downtime and reduce scrap during start-up and restarts
  • Collaborate with Tooling, Maintenance, and Quality departments to resolve process or equipment issues
  • Assist with maintenance-related activities as required
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
  • Prior experience with plastics manufacturing, including running and process set-up of injection or blow molding machines
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and power tools
  • Excellent problem-solving, math, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized
  • Dependable with a strong attendance record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and multi-task effectively
  • Willingness to work scheduled shifts, with flexibility for overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Compensation

Starting pay: $26.00 per hour. Higher starting wages may be offered based on relevant industry experience, skills, and qualifications.

Schedule
