Job description

Part Time| Temporary Position| $15.50

Job Purpose or Objective(s): As the laundry attendant, you will maintain a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel. You will report to the Laundry Facilities Manager or Director.

Primary Tasks:

  1. You will sort soiled laundry.
  2. Wash, dry, and fold laundry.
  3. Operate commercial laundry equipment including Chicago Iron, CBW and Towel Folder.
  4. You will separate torn, stained and unusable laundry for inspection.
  5. Clean equipment such as removing detergent build-up in washers and cleaning lint traps in dryers.
  6. Monitor equipment and report any safety, noise, or breakage issues.
  7. Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
