Job description

Job Summary
Produces quality laboratory results efficiently and in accordance with written procedures, operating instruments to required specifications and maintaining quality control across all patient populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform lab testing and quality control per written procedures
- Collect specimens (venipuncture, capillary, arterial, urine, culture)
- Report results appropriately by patient population; manage critical values
- Follow safety protocols for hazardous materials and bloodborne pathogens
- Rotate through departments, shifts, on-call, and holiday schedules as needed
Required
• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), or Medical Laboratory Science (MLS).
• Registered Medical Technologist (ASCP or equivalent: MT, CLS, MLS).
• Licensed by the North Dakota Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice.
• Medical Technologist internship completed.
Rotating shifts: evenings, weekends, holidays, on-call.
