Job description

Senior Product Marketing Manager

Location : [Sydney OR SF (Hybrid)]

About Us

At Relevance AI, we’re building the home of the AI workforce.

Our mission is simple: empower every team to delegate meaningful work to AI agents that think, act, and collaborate like experts.

With Relevance AI, anyone can create and manage intelligent agents that handle workflows, decisions, and collaboration - all within one unified platform. Our technology already powers industry leaders such as Canva, Databricks, Confluent, Autodesk, Lightspeed, Rakuten, Aveva, Qualified, and Activision Blizzard, helping them scale excellence across operations, marketing, and sales.

We’re backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, Insight Partners, Peak XV, and King River Capital, and raised our Series B in April 2025 to accelerate growth and push the boundaries of agentic automation.

Headquartered in San Francisco and Sydney, we operate on a hybrid model and thrive on curiosity, collaboration, and execution - we move fast, think big, and win together.

In 2025, we were proud to be named LinkedIn’s #1 Startup in Australia.

If you want to define how the world works with AI, join us.

The Role

Relevance AI is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to define how our platform is positioned, understood, and brought to market. You’ll bridge Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing - turning complex AI capabilities into clear, compelling customer value stories that drive pipeline, adoption, expansion, and retention.

This is Relevance AI’s first dedicated product marketing role. You’ll inherit existing product-level messaging, then take primary responsibility for sharpening our positioning, building the core product marketing function, and ensuring our launches and content stand out in a fast-moving market. You’ll report directly to the CMO and work closely with our product and engineering leadership in Sydney and our go-to-market teams in San Francisco.

This is a high-scope, hands‑on opportunity for someone who wants to help define a new software category, shape the voice of an AI company, and own meaningful work from strategy through execution.

We are hiring one person for this role, based in either San Francisco, California or Sydney, Australia. Sales and Marketing are based in Sydney and San Francisco, while Product and Engineering are based in Sydney, so building strong relationships across both locations is essential.

Your impact
  • Define and maintain clear, differentiated positioning and messaging for the Relevance AI platform.

  • Develop a deep understanding of our ideal customer profiles, buyer journeys, personas, and the reasons customers choose Relevance AI.

  • Translate technical product capabilities into compelling, customer-focused stories for business and technical audiences.

  • Own end-to-end go-to-market planning and execution for product launches, feature announcements, and ongoing product communications.

  • Create and continually improve product marketing assets, including product pages, data sheets, white papers, presentations, videos, explainers, customer-facing roadmaps, and other digital content.

  • Build sales enablement tools and deliver training that helps the sales team communicate product value, accelerate deals, and support renewals.

  • Partner with demand generation to develop content and campaigns that create and accelerate pipeline.

  • Develop lifecycle and expansion campaigns that improve activation, product usage, adoption, and retention.

  • Represent the product at customer meetings, trade shows, speaking events, webinars, and other market-facing opportunities.

  • Gather customer and competitive insights to inform product strategy, positioning, and marketing differentiation.

  • Measure the performance of product marketing programs and use sales and marketing data to improve their impact.

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to align on the roadmap, build trusted relationships with technical leaders, translate features into customer value, surface market insights, and lead launches.

  • Partner with Sales to strengthen enablement, create practical tools, support major opportunities as a product expert, and help accelerate deals and renewals.

  • Partner with Marketing to maintain consistent messaging across channels, develop high-quality content and campaigns, and represent the product in the market.

  • Partner with Customer Success to support product adoption, expansion, renewals, and communication of new capabilities to existing customers.

What We’re Looking For
  • 4–8+ years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS or AI, including direct ownership of go-to-market strategy, messaging, and product launches.

  • We would also consider someone operating at Director level who is excited by the hands‑on scope and impact of this role.

  • Experience marketing technical software products; exposure to AI, automation, data, or developer‑oriented tools is highly valued.

  • Strong expertise in ideal customer profiles, buyer journeys, persona development, positioning, and messaging.

  • A track record of creating sales enablement and customer‑facing assets that support pipeline and revenue outcomes.

  • Exceptional storytelling, writing, and content creation skills, with the ability to independently produce polished presentations, written assets, and video content using standard tools.

  • Demonstrated success partnering with Product and Engineering teams to understand technical capabilities and translate them into market value.

  • The ability to influence across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success without relying on formal authority.

  • A startup‑ready approach: self‑directed, flexible, action‑oriented, and comfortable moving between strategy and hands‑on execution.

  • Genuine curiosity about AI and agentic automation, along with enthusiasm for using the product and building technical fluency.

  • Experience in a startup or growth‑stage environment.

  • Comfort working in a hybrid environment, collaborating across time zones, including with customers in EMEA and APAC when needed, and traveling between San Francisco and Sydney for extended working sessions.

Nice to have
  • A technical undergraduate degree or college‑level coursework in computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.

  • A strong measurement and analytics orientation across sales and marketing KPIs.

  • A portfolio or public samples such as messaging frameworks, launch plans, white papers, data sheets, videos, or sales enablement materials.

Why Join Us
  • Work at the forefront of AI with a nimble team that is constantly pushing boundaries. We encourage and celebrate ideas that drive our mission forward.

  • We’re guided by our six principles: eyes on the prize, work on the factory - not just in it, be truth‑seeking, know your customer by name, let's find a way, and momentum matters.

  • We’ve set high standards in our high‑trust, low‑ego environment. We hire exceptional people to do the best work of their lives. In return, we reward our people with competitive salaries, equity stake, unparalleled professional growth, and career‑defining opportunities.

  • Relevance AI is well‑funded by leading investors, including Bessemer Venture Partners, Insights Partners, Peak XV, and King River Capital.

  • As an early team member, you’ll play a key role in shaping our future—including our culture, ways of working, and even the benefits we offer. We’re laying the foundations now, and your ideas can help define what comes next.
