Pay Range: $23-$26/hour (Depending on Experience)

The Industrial Sandblaster will be proficient in surface cleaning, preparation and Sand Blasting in order to accomplish assigned tasks, producing work of a high standard in accordance with Company’s policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Clean and prepare surface areas prior to sandblasting, complete pre-start equipment check
  • Carry out abrasive sandblasting in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Sustain sandblasting tools and equipment
  • Accurately maintain required records and documentation for each project
  • Responsibly manage consumable supplies and raw materials
  • Follow ALL corporate safety requirements and standards, including but not limited to the use of respiratory equipment, protective clothing, protective lenses/goggles, steel toed boots, etc.
  • Preserve a safe and clean assigned workstation
  • Safely operate forklift

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Able to maintain and use Abrasive Blasting Equipment
  • Previous experience using sandblasting tools and equipment preferred
  • Submit to pre-employment and random drug and/or alcohol tests as required by DOT
