Senior Marketing Operations Manager - BizTech

Crescendo

San Francisco, CA • On-site, Remote

Full-time

Re-posted 21 days ago

Job description

Please note: While this role is posted as a Senior Marketing Operations role, it sits within our Revenue Operations organization and supports cross-functional GTM initiatives. The scope described in this job description represents the full responsibilities of the position. The job title will be aligned with our organizational structure and leveling framework.
Role Details
Location: Remote, West Coast hours
About Us
At Crescendo, we're transforming customer experience with Operational AI-a seamless blend of AI automation and human expertise that delivers better, faster, more scalable experiences. We're not just changing how business works. We're reshaping the industry economics.
The Role
At Crescendo, we're hiring a high-agency, AI-fluent operator to join the GTM Strategy & Ops team. This is a multidisciplinary group who combine strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and high-velocity execution.
In this role, you'll tackle complex Marketing initiatives with impact across the entire Go-To-Market funnel. Reporting to the Dir. of GTM Business Technology, you'll partner directly with Leaders in Marketing and Sales to identify growth opportunities, drive process/system evolution, and accelerate execution across the org.
In this role, you'll play a key role in embedding AI into how our GTM organization operates-identifying high-impact use cases, redesigning workflows, and leveraging AI to improve efficiency, insight generation, and decision-making across the business.
The role demands a combination of strategic thinking, analytical rigor, operational excellence, AI fluency, and strong communication skills, particularly within a fast-paced SaaS or B2B technology environment. If you have a technical, builder mindset; if you're comfortable writing automations, connecting APIs, and using AI-powered tooling to move faster and do more with less; if you've built marketing ops before or are seeking an opportunity to build it differently, this role is for you.
Success in this role opens the door to leadership roles within GTM Strategy & Ops, Marketing, Product Management, or AI-driven initiatives.
This is a remote role that requires working West Coast hours.
In this role, you will
  • Bring a point of view on marketing performance by channel and campaign with actionable insights and recommendations underpinned by the clear and reliable reporting you've built.
  • Drive the evolution of our pipe gen processes and the underpinning marketing tech stack (Hubspot, Clay, Apollo, etc.)
  • Work cross-functionally with GTM teams to make Opportunity prioritization, pursuit and handoffs easy while gathering the feedback for testing and learning.
  • Manage and optimize HubSpot and its interaction with Salesforce to identify, score, track, and attribute leads across campaigns.
  • Define and uphold data governance, segmentation, and database health across marketing systems
  • Note: This role focuses on building the GTM Engine. A separate Growth Marketing team will use the engine to drive campaign creative and execution.

What We're Looking For
  • 7+ years in GTM Strategy & Ops, Marketing Operations BizTech, supporting multi-segment multi-product SaaS GTM motion (SMB + Enterprise, or PLG + Sales-led)
  • Experience changing the way work is done by synthesizing complex operational data and reports into compelling strategic narratives, for senior leadership
  • Strong analytical, system design, and documentation skills; able to translate business needs into scalable technical workflows.
  • Hands-on experience administering Hubspot, Salesforce, Clay and Apollo
  • Proven ability to design automated workflows, operational processes, and scalable cross-system integrations.
  • Fluency in AI-driven tools or agentic workflows to automate GTM tasks and enrich firmographic and demographic data
  • Direct communicator with the operational discipline to document what you build and bring others along on changes
  • Comfortable with ambiguity in a high-growth environment; you scope the problem, then move
  • Nice to Have: Exposure to partner ecosystem tooling

Company Culture Is At Our Core
Core values give our work intention and our culture its edge. They're the standards we hold for ourselves, our partners, and each other.
  • Care for others: Empathy is a key driver. When people thrive, so does the mission.
  • Embrace growth: Curiosity fuels progress. Take bold risks, sharpen your edge, go forward.
  • Manifest trust: Trust is our currency. Earn it daily, protect it fiercely, and let it fuel what's next.
  • Take ownership: Bold choices with integrity at the core-that's how impact lasts.
  • Be humble: Humility opens the door to better ideas. Hear others, lift others, keep learning.
