Job description

Exciting opportunity for an Immediate opening as a Chiller Tech. This opening is perfect for mid career HVAC /Chiller Tech experience looking for an opening with career advancement, and growth opportunities, opportunity to work with a stable company. Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair air-cooled and water-cooled chillers up to 1000 tons.
  • Service RTUs up to 50 tons, VAVs, VFDs, and BAS controls (experience in editing and troubleshooting BAS systems is a plus).
  • Perform startup and commissioning of HVAC systems.
  • Conduct refrigerant leak testing, operational inspections, coil cleaning, tube descaling, and chiller diagnostics.
  • Execute crane signaling and rigging for equipment setup.
  • Handle steam boiler/system maintenance, including combustion setup, troubleshooting, and service.
  • Lead and train junior technicians in chiller service and maintenance best practices.
  • Maintain strong communication with customers, providing updates and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and service standards on all job sites.

Requirements:

  • Current Licensed Technician verifiable experience in servicing commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Certifications: EPA, NATE, and related certifications (possessing EPA is mandatory; however, we are flexible on others see list below).
  • Experience in servicing chillers up to 1000 tons (air and water-cooled).
  • Proven startup and commissioning experience.
  • Crane signaling and rigging experience.
  • Experience in steam boiler/system maintenance, combustion setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with the industry and competitors.
  • Willingness to multitask and perform duties outside of the typical scope of work when necessary.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work from heights.
  • Valid driver's license.
