Description:

Summary: The picker will utilize consolidated pick reports to pick a wide variety of items and place items in appropriate area for production usage.


Status: Full time, Nonexempt


Duties & Tasks:

• Pick orders as requested by supervisor.

• Proper handling of parts

• Operate stand up forklift, cherry picker, or scissor lift.

• Ensure correct item and quantity delivered to production area.

• Use WMS and RF systems to transfer inventory locations.

• Work with cycle count team to resolve inventory discrepancies.

• Assist with annual physical inventory.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Adhere to all Bitzer safety policies and procedures.

• Maintains a safe, clean, and well-organized area in accordance with Bitzer’s 5S protocol.


Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

• Detailed oriented with the ability to perform multiple tasks in fast moving environment.

• Ability to follow oral and/or written instruction.

• Team orientated and self-motivated.

• Basic Math knowledge.


Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

• Forklift experience and ability to pass Bitzer certification.

• Must be able to stand on feet for at least 10 hours/day.


Work Environment:

• This job is performed in a manufacturing environment, and proper PPE is required at all times, such as safety glasses, ear protection and steel toed shoes.

Physical Demands:


• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; bend; stoop; use hands; and reach with hands and arms. May be required to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
