The Role: The Director of Field Marketing will lead regional field marketing strategy and execution across the North East and Canada, driving pipeline generation, revenue acceleration, and customer engagement in alignment with sales priorities.

This role owns the end-to-end field marketing plan and calendar for the region — ensuring all programs, events, and campaigns are strategically aligned to business goals and deliver measurable pipeline impact.

As the central orchestrator of all regional marketing activity, this person will partner closely with Sales, Demand Generation, and Product Marketing to execute high-impact programs with a strong emphasis on events as a core pipeline driver

Key Responsibilities

Field Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Own and develop the quarterly and annual field marketing plan and calendar for the Americas, aligned to regional revenue targets and sales priorities.

  • Translate business goals into a structured mix of programs, including events, campaigns, ABM initiatives, and industry engagements.

  • Allocate budget strategically across programs to maximize pipeline impact and ROI.

Pipeline Generation & Event Orchestration

  • Serve as the central owner of all regional events — including trade shows, owned events, executive dinners, third-party sponsorships, and internal events.

  • Design and execute event strategies as pipeline-generating engines, ensuring clear targeting, account alignment, and follow-up plans.

  • Oversee end-to-end execution: audience segmentation, messaging, promotion, attendee acquisition, onsite experience, and post-event conversion.

  • Drive innovation in event formats and experiences to increase engagement, differentiation, and pipeline contribution.

Sales Alignment & Regional Leadership

  • Partner closely with Regional Sales VPs and sales leadership to align marketing programs with account priorities, territory plans, and pipeline coverage needs.

  • Act as the primary liaison between Sales and Marketing, ensuring tight coordination on priorities, messaging, and execution.

  • Enable sales teams with relevant campaigns, events, and content to support prospecting, deal acceleration, and customer expansion.

Campaign Execution & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Digital teams to execute integrated, omni-channel campaigns within the region.

  • Ensure global campaigns and product launches are effectively localized and executed to drive regional impact.

  • Orchestrate multi-touch programs that combine digital and in-person experiences to accelerate buyer engagement.

Performance, Analytics & Optimization

  • Establish and track key performance metrics, including pipeline generation, pipeline influence, conversion rates, and ROI.

  • Analyze program performance and funnel metrics to continuously optimize strategy, budget allocation, and execution.

  • Provide regular reporting and insights to sales and executive leadership on marketing impact and pipeline contribution.

Customer Marketing & Advocacy

  • Partner with Sales to identify and secure customer participation in events, case studies, and regional marketing initiatives.

  • Support the development of customer stories and reference programs to strengthen credibility and pipeline conversion.

Qualifications
  • 8–12+ years of B2B marketing experience, with a strong focus on field marketing in enterprise software or technology.

  • Proven track record of building and executing field marketing plans that drive measurable pipeline and revenue impact.

  • Deep experience managing and executing a wide range of events, including trade shows, executive programs, and owned events.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles, account-based marketing, and marketing attribution.

  • Exceptional ability to partner with Sales and influence senior stakeholders.

  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions and optimize performance.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with executive presence.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $103,900 to $186,900 and represents a good faith estimate of the range at the time of posting.  Strategy maintains broad salary ranges to account for differences in skills, experience, qualifications, internal peer equity, market conditions, and business needs.

Candidates are typically placed within the range based on these factors, and it is not common for individuals to be hired at or near the top of the range. The posted range reflects base salary only. Eligible employees may also participate in bonus programs, sales incentives, equity awards, and comprehensive benefits, as applicable.
