Beds-N-Biscuits in Wheat Ridge, CO is looking to hire a Full-Time or Part-Time Dog Care Attendant to take care of our furry clients and ensure they're safe, healthy, and wagging their tails! This pet care attendant position starts at $18.00/hour base pay, plus tips. Average tips add an additional $2.50/hour, which means you could make up to $20-$21/hour. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DOG CARE ATTENDANT

As a Dog Care Attendant, you take care of dogs and make our business viable and able to operate! You are an essential member of our team, and our adorable pet friends love you. You supervise our play yards, walk the animals, feed and water them, and clean up after nature calls. Our dogs are energetic and love to run around and play, so it's a good thing you are able to keep up with them and handle any size or breed. Because they enjoy playing with lots of friends too, you ensure their safety by properly tracking and watching multiple dogs at once. You are kind and patient with each pet! Work doesn't feel like work when you're spending time with our adorable furry companions. You love it!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A DOG CARE ATTENDANT

  • A love for dogs
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to stand on your feet for 8 hours and lift more than 50 pounds
  • Must be comfortable around dogs and cleaning up after dogs
  • Ability to handle various weather conditions
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Dog experience is a plus, but not required! Do you have excellent communication skills? Are you detail-oriented and organized? Can you be patient and kind when handling and interacting with pets? Do you manage your time efficiently? Are you someone with a positive, can-do attitude? If yes, you might just be perfect for this full- or part-time yard and kennel attendant position!
