Our Veterinarians are responsible for ensuring that all of the dogs in Biscuits & Bath's care are receiving a well-rounded program of wellness and preventative medical care.

We are focused on medical excellence, with a specific focus on preventive care and general wellness. In addition, we also offer surgical procedures (including spays/neuters), deep dental cleaning, and national/international certificates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough examinations of animals to diagnose their health issues
  • Provide appropriate medical treatment for sick or injured animals.
  • Advise pet owners on nutrition, preventive care, and general care practices.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with veterinary protocols.
  • Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine.

Qualifications
  • DVM, VMD or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
  • New York State veterinary license in good standing.

  • Ability to juggle a variety of responsibilities, while balancing competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills. High degree of independent decision-making and problem-solving capability.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Must be physically fit to lift dogs 50lb +, kneel, stand for long periods of time and perform requirements of the job.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Word) and Internet savvy.
