The successful candidate will operate in a fully remote work setting, utilizing technology to connect with clients through teletherapy and virtual consultations. • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' symptoms related to mood disorders.
• Collaborate with clients to craft tailored treatment plans that address their specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client progress.
• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies to enhance coping skills.
• Monitor and document client progress rigorously, adapting treatment plans as necessary to maximize efficacy and outcomes.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration for integrated care with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic treatment.
• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder therapies to continually refine your therapeutic approach.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.
• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, working to reduce stigma and promote awareness in the community.

Your work will primarily focus on individuals suffering from mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will also provide support to vulnerable groups such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your compassionate approach will be crucial in helping these clients navigate their challenges, fostering healing and hope.

• Must hold a current and active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build a secure and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, warmth, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients' experiences and challenges.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage clinical workloads and administrative tasks.

• Experience in utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT or DBT is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with working in a remote therapy setting is advantageous.
• Prior experience in advocating for mental health issues and community engagement initiatives is a plus.

• The salary for this role ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
