Learning Excellence Specialist
Summary
Kelly Services is hiring a temporary  Learning Excellence Specialist is responsible for assessing the skills, performance, productivity, and development of employees at a designated CDMO site. In this temporary assignment, you will partner with Corporate Learning, Site Leadership, and Quality teams to ensure that all learning, training, and development initiatives are strategically aligned with company policies, business goals, and compliance with GMP requirements.
Pay Rate: $29.50/hour
Location: Rockville MD
Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5 pm – Onsite
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Consult with Site Management and Subject Matter Experts to define learning objectives and assign appropriate training curriculum and course content.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using metrics, feedback, and performance data; propose improvements for continuous learning.
  • Maintain documentation and training records according to GMP practices and organizational policies.
  • Ensure the training department aligns with overall business objectives.
  • Optimize training processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support client and regulatory audits related to training and HR compliance.
  • Manage vendors providing training materials or conducting training sessions.
  • Administer and enhance the Learning Management System (LMS) used for training tracking and delivery.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, encouraging employees to take ownership of their development.
  • Model and demonstrate an employee-focused leadership style that emphasizes compliance, respectful collaboration, accountability, and employee well-being.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Learning, Education, Human Resources, or related field required.
  • Minimum three years of experience in creating and implementing learning solutions in various modalities; experience in a cGMP laboratory, pharmaceutical, or biotech training environment is a plus.
  • Experience in managing learning departments including design, delivery, and LMS administration preferred.
  • Strong platform/facilitation skills.
  • Familiarity with Bloom’s Taxonomy, Kirkpatrick Model, ADDIE, and SAM.
  • Two to four years of experience utilizing an LMS.
  • Technical writing experience required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and the ability to quickly adapt to other software packages.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and prioritize effectively.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Understanding or familiarity with relevant FDA, EMA, ICH, USP, and EP guidelines and regulations related to biologic/cell therapies.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices, and familiarity with procedures for pharmaceutical products approval is preferred.
  • Ability to work onsite per scheduled hours.
