As a Security Officer Patrol in Seaside, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming guest experience. You will respond to concerns, communicate professionally with guests and staff, and contribute to Allied Universal’s caring, reliable, and integrity-driven team culture.

Pay Rate: $16.84 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a hotel and resort location.
  • Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, common spaces, parking areas, building exteriors, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site policies, helping to deter unauthorized entry and support a welcoming guest experience.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
